Description This 21-track CD features three vocal songs, including the intro theme, 'Hemisphere' (performed by voice actress Maaya Sakamoto and produced by Yoko Kanno, one of the hottest anime composers around) and the outro theme, 'Egg of the Dream' sung by Mayumi Hashimoto and Ichiko Hashimoto.

Now here's some great music April 16, 2008 Originally, I knew I was buying this whether I liked the music or not, just because the show is so top-notch. However, upon listening, I found such a melodious bliss caressed by ears unlike much of what one hears today. It seems many people are disappointed by this because "it's not like Cowboy Bebop". Well, if it were, Cowboy Bebop's music wouldn't seem as amazing. This soundtrack is meant to be listened to without comparing it to other anime scores. Doing so unleashes a pleasant audial experience no matter how many times it's listened to.
I have this in my car right now! February 16, 2008 This ia a great soundtrack. It is very mellow and relaxing. If you love the show it is a great way to chill out after a rough day or keep calm while driving around town.
Enjoyable August 28, 2007 Surprisingly enjoyable soundtrack with great instrumental pieces as well as the two vocal ones heard at the beginning and end of each episode. I recommend this to anyone who liked the series since the music was a strong part of it.
My Favorite CD (out of a 500 CD collection) August 4, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This CD is made of songs taken from the hit anime, "Samurai Champloo". The opening and closing tracks are the opening theme and closing themes, respectively. My favorites are: "Shika no Uta (Song of the Seasons)", "Tubed (Drum Please!!)", "Sneak Chamber", and "Dry". All the songs are worthy of a five star review. This CD is not only for fans, but any one who enjoys hip-hop beats or urban jazz. The arrangements are worthy of a ghetto Mozart and everytime I listen to a song, I get a visualization of Mugen and Jin beating the crap out of some random guys... It's great! ^_^ But my grandparents can listen to it and just hear the music, as do my parents. Great CD, well worth the money it costs.
Great Anime Music! July 16, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I simply love the beats offered on this CD. The music is very mellow and is great as ambiance. Some of the tracks are upbeat and fast-paced. These tracks would work well as background music to home movies or shorts.
The music is straight from the anime and when you listen to it, it feels like you are in the anime. This is a great soundtrack and has some memorable music. Its a must have for anime, Samurai Champloo and techno fans.
